Job posting – Field Rep Position

Senator Jim Beall seeks candidates for a Field Representative for District Office

The Field Representative will act as a liaison between the Senator and constituents, district organizations, local governments, and state agencies. Responsibilities include keeping the Senator apprised of relevant district issues, especially those involving state agencies, constituent casework, event-planning, cultivating relationships with constituents, local elected officials, businesses and community organizations on behalf of the Senator; staffing the Senator at community events and conducting research on policy issues of importance to the district. Additional responsibilities include office work such as coordinating and handling administrative tasks, answering the telephone, scheduling as necessary, managing and ordering supplies and providing support for the office.

Ideal candidates should possess strong oral and communication skills and be proactive self-starters.
